Computer magazine c’t: AWA winner for IT titles
As the only magazine, c’t increases its coverage in the computer press segment

Hanover, 13 July 2016 – Contrary to all IT titles that are losing in coverage, c’t computer magazine increases momentum: The current readership survey by Allensbacher Werbeträger Analyse (AWA) indicates a plus in coverage of 4.5 % for the renowned Heise title c’t compared to the previous year. This is an increase in readership for c't from 837,000 to 875,000 readers per issue.

AWA 2016 assigns nothing but red figures for the coverage numbers of the computer magazines Computer Bild (-8.1 %), Chip (-13.7 %), PC go (-13.2 %), PC Magazin (-13.6 %) and PC Welt (-38.5 %). In a segment under great pressure merely c't was able to increase its numbers. This growth is attributed to the clear positioning of c’t, its professional target group and the straight demarcation of editorial work and advertising.
